How to Earn Your Master's
To earn your Master's Certification, the first step is to complete:
Securement 101
Basic Wheelchair Securement Training
Next, you will need to complete EITHER:
Securement 102
Securing Complex Wheelchairs & Scooters — Transit and Paratransit
-OR-
Securement 103
Securing Complex Wheelchairs — School Transportation
Once you have completed the required courses, you will automatically be awarded your Master’s Certificate, which will appear on your My Courses page sidebar.
Can I complete courses in any order?
Yes! Though we encourage everyone to start with Securement 101 to build a strong foundation on the core principles of wheelchair securement, you can complete courses in any order to earn your Master’s.
When does my Master's Certificate expire?
Your Master's Certificate is valid for 2 years. Essentially, it will always be tied to the same expiration date as the course you completed to earn the Master's.
How do I Get Re-Certified?
Simply make sure your have 2 of the required courses completed with valid certifficates.
